• Maple syrup: 1/4 cup

• Chopped sage: 1 1/2 Tbsp.

• Salt: 1 Tbsp.

• Fennel seed: 2 1/2 tsp.

• Pepper flakes (Red): 2 1/2 tsp.

• Garlic powder: 2 1/2 tsp.

• Onion powder: 2 1/2 tsp.

• Anise seed: 1 tsp.

• Olive oil: 1 Tbsp.

Methods:

Mix pork, onion powder, anise seed, garlic powder, pepper flakes, fennel seed, salt, sage, and maple syrup in one bowl to make a smooth blend. Shape this mixture into small patties.

Heat oil in one large skillet over medium flame and fry patties in small batches until equally brown. Each side of patties will take almost 4 – 5 minutes. Serve hot.
